This document, dated 17 February 2025, provides an overview of a literature review commissioned by the Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA). The review was conducted by the Australian Institute of Family Studies (AIFS). The primary purpose of the project was to gather and analyse existing research on the aged care experiences and needs of older veterans and their families. The findings aim to guide future enhancements to aged care services for veterans and to highlight areas where further research is needed.
